Theme: Brazil already has 3,300 MW in contracted photovoltaic projects, expected to be delivered by 2018. An important part of these projects will be executed in 2017, a year in which Brazil is expected to exceed the historic mark of 1 GW in operational photovoltaic solar plants. What precautions should be taken with the measurement and forecast of the solar resource? How are the ongoing projects in progress in the country? How to build, operate and maintain a photovoltaic solar power plant effectively and efficiently? How to integrate photovoltaic solar energy to the National Interconnected System?
